Review: Fancii Cora 7 Face and Body System

This blog is way overdue. I won my Fancii Cora 7 Face and Body System* last year through Fancii's instagram account and have been using it ever since. I didn't even think I'd use it a lot, to be honest, but now I use it daily.

So the seven piece set includes: a large body brush, facial brush, an exfoliating foam head, a pumice stone, a silicone face brush, a rolling massager and a shower handle extender. My esthetician has always told me how important exfoliating is key when caring for my skin because it removes dead and dry skin cells on the surface of your face. The exfoliating foam head is probably my favorite thing about the while set.

The six heads are detachable and easy to use. Each has it's own purpose and can be used up to twice daily. It has two spinning speeds: deep cleansing and gentle exfoliating. It's cordless, uses 2 AA batteries, and works on all skin types. It also travels well. I have brought it on many trips and comes with a travel bag (which I have actually lost before I could even use it, so I can't comment on the quality of the travel bag). I use it mostly in the shower because it is 100% water resistant.

According to Fancii's website, these are the purpose of head head:

Facial Cleansing Brush: for daily deep cleaning and help reduce acne breakouts

Silicone Face Brush: More gentle for people with sensitive skin

Large Body Brush: for scrubbing your back and other hard to reach places

Exfoliating Foam Head: for microabrasion use, twice a week. Helps polish your face for a silkier and smoother feeling skin

Rolling Massager: Improves blood circulation and skin elasticity, which stimulates collagen production and reduce fine lines and wrinkles

Pumice Stone: Removes rough patches of skin from hands and feet

I have used it for months now and I highly recommend it. I have noticed that it takes off my makeup way better than using my hands. I can definitely feel and see a difference almost right after I use it, it's so smooth! Using the spin brush, along with my regular facials, has been big difference in my skin. I have less breakouts, that's for sure!

The Pumice Stone is fantastic! I can't always afford or have time for pedicure, so this attachment is great to have. At first, I was concerned because I didn't think it would work as well because even the highest spinning speed didn't seem strong enough to handle my dry rough heels. I was pleasantly surprised when the first spinning speed actually worked really well. It is a great quality stone.

My verdict on the Fancii Cora 7 Face and Body System? I highly recommend it! It's a quality  skincare product, it works and is affordable. The replacements sets are affordable as well. If you are new to Fancii products, you can sign up for a 15% off coupon on your first order!

Front Row Cosmetics Launches New Collection!

On Thursday, Front Row Cosmetics has launched their eagerly anticipated new collection, Cabana Sol! I wanted to showcase one of my favorite brands because I love their cruelty free products. I contacted Melissa, the owner, so you can get to know her and Front Row Cosmetics. Melissa is a fantastic friend of mine and is super talented. She always makes me feel and look beautiful after doing my makeup.

Why did you want to become a makeup artist?
I didn't plan on becoming a makeup artist growing up. I actually have a degree in accounting!  I always liked to draw and paint, but never thought of it as a career. I had a group of friends who were makeup artists and they always worked on the weekend. At the time, I worked for a robotic company focusing on NASA projects for Mars Exploration. When the weekend came, I had nothing to do so I started working at MAC with my friends and I fell in love with the art of makeup. That is how it all began!

What inspires you as an artist?
My clients inspire me. I listen to what they want and how they would like to feel. I love to assist my clients in feeling confident, strong, and like a total bad ass. I think of it as my job to provide that for them!

Tell us about how Front Row started
The idea of Front Row started because of makeup questions. I was getting a lot of questions about ingredients and How-Tos. I like to have comprehensive answers when people ask me a question. After I did some research, I felt major lines made makeup much complicated than it needed to be. I wanted to keep Front Row cosmetics simple, cruelty free and use clean ingredients.

What are your favorite products?
Our duo brow pencil, lipstick/lipgloss and concealer. These three products that can make you look bright and ready to take on the day.

What are some of your favorite beauty tips?

I think my favorite is one from my grandmother. Growing up, like so many of us, I had horrible acne. My grandmother told me to cut a lemon in half, rub it on my face, go to sleep, then wash it off in the morning and moisturize. To this day I have never had acne again!  I think lemon is a perfect cleanser and toner.

What inspired Cabana Sol?
I am loving the golds and purples this summer. These colors are also perfect transition shades into fall. When designing and naming the collection, I thought of the times I spent in Miami at Nikki Beach. I loved lounging in a cabana with my shimmery eyes and a pop of color on my lips lip-syncing the wrong words to the music playing.

What products are in this collection?
There are three trio eyeshadows, two cream eyeshadows, two liquid to matte lipsticks and, and two lip glosses.

When will the products launch and where can we get them?
The collection is available now online and at our Front Row studio on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, NC.

Que Bella Beauty Masks

Que Bella products are one of my favorite beauty brands out there. Que bella eye masks were recommended to me by my friend Melissa of FrontRow Cosmetics. I fell in love with them the first time I used them. They moisturize, brighten, and soften the area under your eyes. They also reduce fine lines and wrinkles which is a huge bonus for me. I usually gently tap my eye cream under my eyes and place the gel masks on for thirty minutes.

Que bella sent me a bunch of different masks to try and I have tried one almost once a week. So far, I've tried their Charcoal Mud Mask, their Energizing Vitamin C Peel Off Mask, their Nourishing Coconut Cream Mask, their Illuminating Citrus Surge Sheet Mask, their Intense Hydrating Seaweed Hydrogel Mask, their Rejuvenating Dead Sea Mineral Sheet Masque, and the Invigorating Oxygen Spa Sheet Masque.

The Charcoal Mud Mask is my favorite. I have a history of acne and the mask de-clogs pores and the menthol helps tighten pores so your skin is protected and always feels refreshing and super soft.

The Energizing Vitamin C Peel Off Mask wasn't my favorite but only because I'm not a huge fan of peel off masks. They always get stuck in my hairline and eyebrows but that almost always due to user error on my part. What I did like about the mask was that is smells amazing and it draws out the impurities in your skin and my skin stayed bright for days.

Another favorite mask of mine is the Nourishing Coconut Cream Mask because it smells amazing and reminds me of the beach plus it made my skin so smooth and soft. The actual mask was so creamy and smoothes on beautifully.

I tried their Illuminating Citrus Surge Sheet Mask and was a little put off because it was a bit difficult to stay on and it was too big. I understand the difficulties of making a sheet mask because you are trying to make it universal and to fit people's faces. It was easier to put it on smoothly when I laid down and relaxed for twenty minutes. When I took the mask off, I gently massaged the remnants of the mask that include Vitamins E, C, and Pro Vitamin B-5 and it felt amazing. It is very moisturizing and helps keep my skin youthful.

Que Bella's newest mask is the Intense Hydrating Seaweed Hydrogel Mask and I love it! My skin is always screaming for more hydration and this mask does the job. It is unique mask because is a firm peel off gel mask. Sure, it looks bizarre but it is a fantastic mask. The ingredients include seaweed, vitamins, minerals and gold to help reflect light for glowing skin.

Lastly, I tried the Rejuvenating Dead Sea Mineral Sheet Masque and it is packed full of Vitamin E. It helped soothe my skin after my mirco-needling. It also helps heal acne scars which is a big bonus for me because I still have some acne scars from when I was a teen. According to Que Bella, the mask has numerous benefits including increasing circulation, eases muscle stiffness and helps fight stress. It is hard to look pleasant in a sheet mask, by the way-haha!

I still have the Relieving Watermelon Peel Off Mask, the Soothing Mix And Peel Honey Jelly Mask and the Balancing Jasmine Mudmask to try so be on the look out for my thoughts on those masks.

I really love Que Bella masks because they are quality masks with natural ingredients and they are affordable. They are dermatologically tested so you know you are getting a great relaxing treatment. Currently, Que Bella is currently in Korea to explore new ingredients and surprises for all their Que Bella Beauties. I can't wait to hear about all their new ideas and products!
